So...basically, I loved this week (well last week) . . . a lot.
Monday, Lauren, Brooke, and I went up to Salt Lake City where we spent four hours and a lot of money at the Gateway and then went to Olive Garden for lunch. It was a very successful and fun shopping trip, almost too successful. After that we went to Temple Square, and I swear the moment we stepped past the gate, the whole world got quiet and the Spirit came in full force. It was amazing. We got stopped by two sets of beautiful Sister Missionaries who were very sweet. After that, we took the Trax back to Sandy and walked to Target to hang out there until Justin could come pick us up to go home. That was . . . interesting . . .
Anyway, when we got home, a cake and vase of flowers were waiting for me. I wish I could've told my friends exactly how happy I was to see the flowers. There weren't words. Anyway, we pretty much chilled for the rest of the night and I actually got some homework done.
This whole entire week has been great though. I don't remember anything special, just that I didn't have a whole lot to do and my classes were pretty chill and life seemed wonderful. I remember Friday we played basketball - which was super fun. Saturday I saw Gulliver's Travels AND Harry Potter 7 at the dollar theater. Thursday I had no classes so I actually got some work done, and I finally did my dark clothes and I found some shirts that I forgot existed. Sunday we had a wonderful Stake Conference, and I don't remember much else from last week, besides spending A LOT of money. oops... oh well...
I'd just like to thank my family for being amazing and to thank my friends for being friends. And Koolaid for being Koolaid.

Best parts of Valentine's Day
* hearing "Lullabye (Goodnight my Angel)" by Billy Joel randomly on my iPod and being obsessed with it all day
*"Nobody loves me"
"I love you"
"No boys love me"
"She is a boy...I'm just kidding! I'm just kidding! I love you! You're a girl!"
*getting a 93 on my first Russian Lit test
*"Yes, The Grudge is a perfect Valentine's Day movie" - the guy at Blockbuster
*a free redbox
*the love note in chalk on the ground
*balloons and candy from awesome people in my world
Happy last few minutes of Valentine's Day, everybody :)

I want a guy to propose to me with this song
http://listen.grooveshark.com/playlist/Lavender+Blue/43475936?src=5
Great Grandfather met Great Grandmother when she was a shy young miss
and Great Grandfather won Great Grandmother with words more or less like this
Lavender blue, dilly dilly
Lavender green
If I were king, dilly dilly,
I'd need a queen
Who told you so? dilly dilly
Who told you so?
I told myself, dilly dilly
I told me so
If your dilly, dilly heart
feels a dilly, dilly way
and if you'll answer, "Yes,"
In a pretty little church
on a dilly, dilly day
you'll be wed in a dilly, dilly dress of
Lavender blue, dilly dilly
Lavender green
Then I'll be king, dilly dilly
and you'll be my queen.
Minnie's Yoo Hoo
I'm the guy they call little Mickey Mouse
got a sweetie down in the chicken house,
neither fat nor skinny, she's the horse's winny
is my little Minnie Mouse
When it's feeding time for the animals,
and they howl and growl like the cannibals,
I just turn my heel, to the henhouse steal,
and you'll hear me sing this song:
Oh, the old tomcat with his meow, Meow,
old hound dog with his bow wow wow,
the crow, Caw Caw, and the mule, Yee Haw,
and gosh what a racket like an old buzz saw,
I have listened to the cuckoo cuck his Coo-coo,
and I've heard the rooster cock his doodle-doo,
but the cows and the chickens they all sound like the dickens
when I hear my little Minnie's, "Yoo hoo!"
got a sweetie down in the chicken house,
neither fat nor skinny, she's the horse's winny
is my little Minnie Mouse
When it's feeding time for the animals,

I love trailers
...and I'm not even sure why.
Every month on the first Monday, I get a code for a free redbox rental. So today, I ended up spending a half hour just watching trailers for movies on the redbox website to see what movie I might like to rent. It was crazy. And now, I haven't really narrowed it down any, because there's five or six that I would like to see. It's crazy! I don't know what to do with myself.
I just love trailers. All trailers. Except ones that end in "3-D." Those trailers kind of suck. But maybe I'm biased...
Here are some trailers that look good:
and, of course...
:)
