When I grow up, I want to be just like Allie Bailey

Allie Bailey is a friend of mine, and she is one of the most all-around awesome people I have ever met. She doesn't know this, but I have been observing her for a long time (not in a creepy way, promise).

First of all, Allie's favorite color is yellow. Point one.

Second, Allie is super talented. She can organize her time better than I ever could. Ever. I don't know how she does it. I won't give details on the off chance that some wacko reads this, but she can do it all. But she's modest and won't admit how awesome she is to people.

Third, Allie is super sweet. She is always so nice to people, but she isn't a pushover. She will be kind to people, but she won't let other people get away with being stupid or rude or lame.

Fourth, Allie is always positive. She is always there to uplift people. She is the smiling face at every activity (especially volleyball games).

Last but most definitely not least, Allie is really good with kids. Her little brothers adore her to death. AND they listen to her. She is always good at playing with them and coming up with creative games and ways for them to have fun. But, again, she won't let the get away with stuff. Someday, I hope that I can the kind of mother to my children that Allie will be. I don't know if I can make it, but I can hope.

There are many, many other amazing qualities about Allie, but these are just the ones that I was thinking about today as I sat behind her at church. I love Allie to death, and I hope when she reads this that she won't blush too too much and that she will believe that evey word I wrote is true, because they are. I will miss her dearly when I leave for college.
