Side by side with my loved ones, I find enchantment here

(Just in case you didn't know, the title of this post comes from Bella Notte)

So . . .
It's been a while since I last made a post. Sorry. Been busy. I promise to try my hardest to think about it more. Just for the people who care.

I. Love. BYU. I can't say that enough. People keep asking me, "So, what do you think of BYU?" and then they almost sound surprised when I say, "I can't get over how much I love it." It makes no sense to me. Doesn't everyone love BYU? I love the people here. I love the random conversations I accidentally overhear all around campus. I love the upstairs of the Maeser auditorium. I love starting classes with a prayer. I love the terrible puns my Book of Mormon professor says in class. I love my Book of Mormon class in general. I'm starting to get more homesick, but I'm still having oodles and oodles of fun.

So, for some catch up:

- We went to Salt Lake for General Conference and it was AWESOME! Salt Lake was gorgeous and the speakers were all awesome. I loved listening to the choir in the tabernacle. We also had the opportunity to watch the Joseph Smith movie before the first session of Conference. I cried. And I never cry.
- BYU WON THE HOMECOMING GAME!!!
- I've spent way too much money (don't worry, Mom)
- I'm making scarves for my friends, which is super fun.
- Guys I know from Fallon keep creeping me out randomly. I don't understand it.
- We pretty much threw the most epic birthday party EVER for Erika.
- I discovered phonezoo.com
- I've actually been able to start wearing some winter-ish clothes. Exciting!
- I went and saw the BYU performance of The Magic Flute, and all I can say now is...Papageno, Papageno, Papageno!

and...that's pretty much it. At least, that's all I can think of right now.

Right now, I have to go write a draft for my research paper and hopefully get some measure of decent sleep. So, I will leave you with Bella Notte. (Seriously, go listen to that song again, I'd forgotten how awesome it is)
