Friday, the 18th day of the 3rd month in the year 2011

So these are some thoughts, comments, exclamations, and all-around happiness from a pretty great day.

1- I actually woke up to my alarm and got ready. My hair was actually down. It's a miracle. This is obviously where my good day started.

2- I wore my Crypies jersey today, which also automatically makes this a good day. (for everyone who doesn't know the reference, let's just say the jersey is bright yellow and is associated with many great memories)

3- So, I woke up early so that I could go to a Mark Zuckerberg forum BUT it turns out that it's next Friday. So I kinda got up for nothing. Oh well.

4- I walked through a really cool exhibit at the MoA (because I suddenly had time to kill on campus) that had old war posters. It was interesting to see the propaganda, especially the images chosen for them. Truly intriguing.

5- More wisdom from Anna Karenina: "It showed him the eternal error people make in imagining that happiness is the realization of desires."

6- It was an absolutely gorgeous day today and I got to talk to my mom while sitting outside on the grass.

7- I took the OST (finally), got a ride home from Eric (who's amazing), and when I got home I got a call from BYU Independent Study wanting to know if I was available to interview for a job I had applied for a couple of weeks ago that I thought was closed. Hopefully something good might happen.

8- I walked to campus and watched this absolutely adorable movie made by Dean Duncan (my Intro to Film professor) and Tom Russell (another film professor at BYU) that's a documentary about home movies. The entire movie was their commentary and bunches of their own families' home movies. They were so adorable and funny and I've resolved that I need to document my future children's childhoods on film.

9- I experimented and made these kidney bean quesadillas that had mashed kidney beans, onions, taco sauce, chili powder, some Goya seasoning, and cheese. They were surprisingly tasty.

10- Eric, Kraig, and I went to the dollar theater and saw Tron: Legacy in 3D, which was really good - it was better than I had expected. I thought the visual effects were interesting and actually quite stunning in places, and the plot wasn't half bad.

11- Some songs I've found recently that I like a lot can now be found on the Grooveshark magic thing on the side of the page :) Enjoy.

Today has been an exceptionally good day, despite the fact that my friends are in Vegas for the weekend. Life is good today and hopefully the weather will be sunny tomorrow. I miss the sun. It's Tron's fault, with the cheesy "warm, radiant, beautiful" sun and the beautiful ending. Ayway, here's to fair weather.
